I am a self motivated individual. I have great patience with adults, children and
persons with different abilities. I work well on task oriented activities, projects, and teaching settings. I direct, design,
implement and follow through. I am able to interact with people of all walks of life. I am able to use a variety of skills
and creative problem solving to accomplish a goal. I am personable, compassionate and a professional business person.
As an artist and a mother, I became an entrepreneur extracting on my skills through
multi-media communication. My mission is to promote better understanding among people of all ages and backgrounds. To impart
beauty in my paintings and messages to help empower people to use their skills to enhance their lives through art. My goal
is to provide awareness with a broader foundation for cultural interpretation through education of art, exploring our cultures,
writing childrens books, and using computers. Promoting and advancing the arts in any community through any position I may

oil painter". Commission work . I design understated patterns and implement installation of the tile. As artist-I paint
abstract oil paintings which are showcased in the community. I design wall treatments,drawings and murals. In addition to
being an artist I am an Art Therapist, tutor, homeschool teacher, private school Featherweight Academy..

Bilingual Kindergarten Teacher-Arlington Independent School District-Title 1 public elementary school. Designed and implemented lesson plan curriculum suited for kindergarten.
Areas of concentration: Science, Art, Social Studies, English, Spanish, Language, Writing, Reading, Arithmetic. Children graduated
from my class on second grade level in reading writing and arithmetic-based on test grades. Many now are A(honors students
in TAKS-TEAKS testing) in spite of my own learning disability.
I have home schooled my own daughter 5th-9th grades (daily chronic migraines)
she has tested above average on her placement tests for the last four years, and has succeeded in academic achievement. I
believe that if you "support your students" paying attention to their emotional well being while offering
tools for learning everything will always fall into place. As with anything in life. "Never let what other’s think of
you make you who you are."Be who you are in spite of them.
1996-1999 Children’s Haven-Adult Center, Inc.(Developmental Disabilities)-Dept. Horticultural Plants Nursery-Supervisor/Horticultural/Nursery Instructor-Monitored
and supervised all departments, team leader, provided training as identified in individual program plan. Planned and developed
individual lesson curriculum. Assisted trainees in developing independent job skills, teaching consumers independent work
skills that in spite of their disabilities they would be able to succeed and participate in growing, propagating, and installing
gardens under my supervision. As a Horticultural Therapist, I also designed butterfly attracting gardens and corporate
landscapes and sold butterfly attracting plants that we grew in the nursery for community at large. Under a grant for
$300,000.00.

Sarasota Arts Fair- I coordinated
and designed the arts fair. Handled all details from publicity to floor planning. I selected jurors, hired classical musicians,
brought in exotic plants, gourmet food, for the visual art affair. 42 recognized national artists participated in the show.
Included Jack Dowd, Craig Rubadoux, Mercedes Trevino, John Chen, Gene Rantz. Handled incoming/outgoing budget.
1987
Publisher of the Arts Guide for
Sarasota-Florida. I designed, coordinated sales, did layout design, sold the concept to sponsors, and hired a printer. 25,000
copies were printed and distributed to support the arts and artists in Sarasota. My own entrepreneur business. Handled all
budget and disbursements.
1984-87
WWZZ Radio- on air D.J. Public Relations
I received AT&T Business Award. Awarded to 25 Executive Business Women in South
Florida who showed uncompromising goals, community spirit and served their community at various levels.
I was named one of twenty five executive women to be awarded in Southern Florida.
1982-1984
Associate Director of Admissions for Ringling School of Art and Design. I served
as Admissions Counselor, traveling nationally, recruiting prospective excellent art students. Other responsibilities entailed
communication with other Colleges, publishers, press releases, and providing hands on workshops for the community at large.
As Interim Admissions Director, my responsibilities included accepting or rejecting students based on their art portfolios.
I made decisions based on P.R. budget and implemented these.

Sarasota Vocational Technical School-Job Development Specialist-used my bilingual
skills and sales, placing people in jobs.

WSPB Radio-
Secretary, receptionist, news D.J.,handled traffic copy, designed commercials, voiced
commercials, on-air program D.J. host for classical music program"Music of the Masters". Handled /Disbursed budget /payroll.
1980
Art Foundry-
I was hired as a Sculptor-to make plaster molds, rubber latex, wax figures, shell
casts, bronze pouring, and detailing work for international sculptors-clients. I had the opportunity to create art from scratch
for clients as well. I made Tinker Bell awards for Disney World. I sculpted a Padre Pio figure that was placed in an orphanage
in Italy.
Montessori Language Academy-Art and Spanish instructor all ages.
1980-1984
Sarasota Mental Health Association-Art Therapist, Art Teacher through a grant given
through educational outreach to provide services for the mentally ill adults. I went beyond the job and provided a special
service from the heart. I became a job developer of sorts and placed some clients with artist friends that had businesses
that needed help in making art items. Handled art supplies budget.
On my own I would find jobs for these adults with artists, and placed them in creative
calm environments where they could thrive making art. One stayed for ten years with an artist friend of mine as an art assistant!
I feel an obligation to those that perhaps need someone to believe in them and help them rise to their potential. I love seeing
their joy and response to life!
